Congratulations Dr. Kate Keets Kate Keets defended her thesis Part I: Photoactivatable platinum(IV) pro-drugs as novel delivery vehicles for chemotherapeutics. Michelle Shearer, '95 Named 2011 National Teacher of the Year Michelle completed her senior thesis research in the Bocarsly lab in 1995. Michelle has taught at schools in Maryland including Urbana High School and the Maryland School for the Deaf. Her efforts to spur all students to success in chemistry have been duly recognized. Congratulations Michelle!
